Apr 21, 2018 I've lurked around the Giant Bomb Resetera forum and noticed its on its The Giant Bomb forums had started to get pretty toxic at that point.

It's a far left echo-chamber full of hypocrites, racists, and sexists. If they didn't have double standards they'd have none at all. Today is Resetera's first birthday A few days after NeoGAF self destructed, former members of the site decided to regroup and make their own site, dubbing it "Resetera". And through trial and effort, they managed to do the impossible and be even worse than NeoGAF in every stretch of the means.

Resetera is one of the most toxic and backwards forums I have ever seen. Reading some of the moronic divorced from reality takes there was infuriating sometimes.

honestly, I'd love it if some sociology buff infiltrated resetera and wrote a piece on the echo chamber that is that website, starting with the use of mod power to censor and change conversations, moving on to the fact that they use video games as a political agenda to push their shit and the overall hypocrisy when it comes to being open and inclusive yet hateful against anyone differing from ResetEra is a toxic environment. Anyone who wants to just talk about a game Era deems "problematic" is in for a rude awakening. I don't like Trump either - but making him a bannable offense for any reason is just lunacy.
